Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul are seeking a Deputy Care Manager for our homely 10-bedded care home in Lanark. This is a new position that will complement our management team providing leadership, guidance, and professional direction to the care team, ensuring the delivery of high quality care, practice and effective teamwork.


Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul is a charity that is dedicated to serving the needs of poor, vulnerable and marginalised people. St Catherine’s is the home of those Daughters who have devoted their lives to serving those in need and have now retired from active service.


St Catherine’s is set over two levels, with its own chapel. Life in St Catherine’s is at a gentle pace to meet the care and support needs of the residents ensuring the delivery of service is person centred to each individual. You will ensure that residents’ needs are met whilst maximising their independence and choice and respecting their privacy and dignity.

The post holder will be part of the Senior Care shift rota, and will deputise in the absence of the Registered Care Manager, sharing the on-call rota, which will include weekend cover.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role in a care and support or similar environment and possess SVQ 3 and 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
