Hiring – Estates and Health & Safety Manager
Peripatetic, based at Mill Hill NW7 with UK travel
£40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending upon experience
35 hours per week

Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul are seeking a passionate and ambitious Estates and Health & Safety Manager to help ensure legal compliance and health & safety industry best practice across all of our 18 properties in the UK.
You will be pro-active in managing and reducing any hazards and long term associated risks at our properties of various sizes, and maintain the safety, upkeep and aesthetics of those properties. You will carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and provide advice and guidance on H&S to senior leadership.
The post holder will have excellent knowledge of the various H&S codes of practice and be able to lead in the development of a maintenance programme for each location. The successful candidate will possess H&S qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH and a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice (NVQ5), with good IT, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul is a charity that is dedicated to serving the needs of poor, vulnerable and marginalised people.
This is a new role, and so the successful candidate will need to have previous relevant experience, and be proactive in establishing themselves and building positive relationships throughout the Charity. The post holder will have a full UK driving licence with access to a car for travel to sites (expenses will be reimbursed).
